Local authorities : How you can work with us

We’ve planned how to best work together with local authorities based on successes from the 2011 Census and the 2019 Rehearsal.

There are lots of different ways that your local authority can help with the census. This includes providing local insight in the lead-up to the census and practical support to help people fill in their forms during the census. You can also use census statistics afterwards to inform your decisions.
