Moving out

Fill in the form online or on paper if:

• you’re staying at that address on the night of Sunday 21 March 2021, or
• you move out before this date but are still responsible for the bills at the empty property - you can complete it before you go or take it with you
• non-UK resident and live or plan to live at this location for three months or more and have no other permanent UK address

If you move out before Sunday 21 March 2021, and you are no longer responsible for the bills at the property, leave the census letter or form for the new occupant.

Moving in

If you move in on or before Sunday 21 March 2021, you must fill in a census form at your new address. Please request a code or paper form if you need one.

If you move in after Sunday 21 March 2021, and there is a census form at the address, please answer the questions about the property.
