Second homes, holiday lets and empty properties : I’m staying in a non-residential property
Everyone in England and Wales should be counted in the census.
If this is a property that people aren't meant to live in, yet you're living or staying here, you should still complete the census. A non-residential property could be an office, shop, factory or other premises.
Taking part in the census helps give local services the information they need to support you and your community.
If you haven't received a letter with an access code, you can complete the census online by requesting a code to be sent to you by text. If you're able to receive post, you can also have a code sent by post, or you can order a paper form.
